Contractor Prequalification Platforms

Every major Texas operator requires contractor compliance. We manage it.

ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, and ComplyWorks are the gatekeepers between your company and the work. A low grade or lapsed account means you can’t mobilize — regardless of your bid.

ISNetworld (ISN)
Most common in Permian Basin

Required by most Permian Basin operators. We manage your RAVS questionnaire, program uploads, EMR, and annual renewal to maintain your grade year-round.

Avetta
Downstream / refinery clients

Required by a growing number of chemical, refinery, and industrial operators in Texas. We submit and maintain your compliance package to avoid mobilization delays.

Veriforce / PEC
SafeLandUSA training platform

Manages PEC safety training, operator qualification programs, and contractor safety history. We navigate the training requirements and maintain documentation for your workforce.

ComplyWorks
Pipeline & midstream operators

Used by pipeline and midstream companies across Texas and Oklahoma. We manage submissions, certificate uploads, and compliance tracking to keep your profile current.

Permian Basin Focus

The most active oilfield market in the world demands the highest safety standards.

Midland · Odessa · Andrews · Pecos · Reeves County

The Permian Basin produces more than 6 million barrels of oil per day — the most productive region in the United States. Every contractor working for a major operator here faces strict ISNetworld prequalification, operator orientation mandates, and OSHA compliance obligations before a single person steps on location.

Of major operators require ISNetworld

Most Permian Basin operators require an EMR at or below 1.0 and a TRIR below your BLS industry average. If your numbers are above threshold, you may be blocked from working — even with an active ISNetworld account. Freedom Safety helps you understand and improve your rates.

Oilfield Safety Hazards

The hazards are real. The regulatory requirements are non-negotiable.

Oil and gas operations carry OSHA’s highest fatality rates. We write the programs and deliver the training that protect your crew and keep your company compliant.

H2S / Hydrogen Sulfide

Present throughout Permian operations. OSHA’s PEL is 20 ppm ceiling. Above 300 ppm is rapidly fatal. Written H2S programs, detector training, and emergency procedures are required for all exposed workers.

Fire & Explosion Risk

Wellsite operations, tank batteries, and flowline work expose contractors to flammable hydrocarbon vapors. Hot work permits, area classification, and ignition source control are required by both OSHA and most operators.

Struck-By & Heavy Equipment

Drilling rigs, wireline trucks, vacuum trucks, and crane operations create struck-by and caught-between hazards governed by OSHA 1910 and API recommended practices.

DOT / FMCSA Compliance

Water haulers, frac pump trucks, and equipment haulers must maintain FMCSA compliance — driver qualification files, ELD records, and drug and alcohol programs.

Confined Space Entry

Storage tanks, vessels, separators, and sumps are permit-required confined spaces under OSHA 1910.146. Entry without atmospheric testing and rescue planning is a serious, potentially fatal violation.

Heat Illness — West Texas

Outdoor oilfield work May through October creates serious heat illness risk. OSHA’s General Duty Clause requires water, rest, shade, and a documented heat prevention plan for all outdoor workers.
